15' ball-leg table frame

Welcome to our notebook.... the photographs in the pages that follow show completed pieces and work-in-progress (like the frame with turned ball legs made for a 15' coffee table at left).

We hope these pictures with short descriptions will demonstrate some of the styles, periods, materials, types of furniture and objects that can be made. Please feel free to contact us to discuss a particular project you have in mind.

Some background

Dana's primary work has always been in wood. He began in carpentry and building, gained a reputation for solar and energy-efficent design, architectural restoration, and is now spending more time specializing in fine woodworking... custom furniture and other projects that require specialized craftsmanship.

In 1990 he received a preservation award from the Salem, Massachusetts Historical Commission for an historic restoration of the exterior of a home. His work has been on display in private collections, for sale in galleries and well-known museum gift shops, catalogs, and he has won awards in juried art shows.
